Licensed Professional Counselor Associate Supervision

Jessica Eiseman is a Licensed Professional Counseling Supervisor with over ten years of experience in the field and several years as an LPC Supervisor. The journey to becoming a counselor can be very difficult. Not only is there a struggle in figuring out the paperwork to submit to the board and finding a site to complete your 3000 hours, but also there is a huge identity shift at this time. There is a lot of grief in graduating and recognizing that things are not the way you thought they would be. You also have been in a black hole for years now and have to try to figure out how to be a “normal” human again without school consuming you 24/7. Choosing your supervisor is an important process as not only is this individual there to sign off on your hours, but they are a mentor, a sounding board, a teacher and a huge support in this next step on your path to becoming fully licensed.
