Please make sure that you have read and completed the initial paperwork provided to you through our online client portal at least 24 hours prior to your first appointment. Otherwise, your clinician may cancel or reschedule your appointment, or the time needed to complete the initial paperwork will cut into your scheduled appointment time, and we want to make the most of our time together!
When it is time for your appointment, if you are doing a teletherapy session log into your client portal from the link sent to you by your clinician (you have the option to have it emailed and/or texted to you). If you cannot find or access this link, we recommend going to this link, entering in your email, and a unique link will be provided to you. You should be able to login to your portal for the appointment through there. If you are still experiencing difficulty, please call or text our office at 832-387-5735 and a member of our team will be available to assist you.
Take a deep breath and remind yourself that you did it, warrior – you are here! During your first appointment, your therapist will spend a few minutes reviewing key points regarding our practice and policies. The rest of the initial session will be focused on learning about you, your background, and what brings you into counseling at this time.
