Assessment is an important element in the counseling process and for appropriate course of treatment. Licensed Professional Counselors (LPCs) are trained to administer assessments and diagnose mental health issues. Our clinicians will meet with you and spend extensive time taking a complete history of your medical, mental health, family, interpersonal relationships and current symptoms. Various measures may be utilized to gain an overall view of your mental health. If relevant, your clinician will provide you with your mental health diagnoses and work with you on research-backed best practices for treatment.

Ajana Therapy is a strong ally for the transgender community. Therefore, we offer assessments and clearance letters for Gender Confirmation Surgery, as well as letters for Hormone Replacement Therapies.

Mental health evaluations and expert witness testimony are also offered through Ajana Therapy & Clinical Services. Our practice specializes in immigration mental health evaluations to support cases such as VAWA, U-Visa and asylum.
