Being human is not always easy. We have our ups and downs that can make life’s situations challenging. The process of working on life’s challenges might seem frightening but know that you do not have to do it alone. Everyone can work towards finding the light at the end of the tunnel. I believe that the journey each person has in finding their light will help them value one’s own strength. Therefore, I aim towards helping individuals search for meaning and purpose through their life experiences. I enjoy incorporating existential and cognitive-behavioral approaches in therapy.

I graduated from the University of Houston-Downtown in 2018 with a B.S in Psychology and a minor in Sociology. I graduated with my master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from the University of St. Thomas, and am licensed as an LPC Associate (Supervised by Jessica Eiseman, LPC-S). I am a first-generation graduate and highly proud of this accomplishment. Being the daughter of immigrants has further influenced my interest in working with Spanish-speaking individuals and anyone who wants to be seen and heard. I have counseling experience working with Spanish-speaking clients. I also have experience working with children in both counseling and educational environments.
